What happens when you stop chasing jokes and trust the story? In this intensive 5-hour workshop, you’ll explore the Chicago approach to long-form narrative musicals—building authentic characters, discovering relationships, and letting songs emerge naturally as the story unfolds. Together we’ll create musicals that are funny, heartfelt, and completely improvised from a single suggestion.

This is a £10 deposit to secure your space on the course. The remainder should be paid on or before the first day of the course.

Cancellations: If, after signing up, participants are unable to attend the course, we will retain the deposit as a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 5 working days of the start of the course will not be refunded. If the Totally Improvised Company has to cancel, you will be refunded the full amount.
