What happens when you stop chasing jokes and trust the story? In this intensive 5-hour workshop, you’ll explore the Chicago approach to long-form narrative musicals—building authentic characters, discovering relationships, and letting songs emerge naturally as the story unfolds. Together we’ll create musicals that are funny, heartfelt, and completely improvised from a single suggestion.
This workshop will take place in the rehearsal spaces in the New Adelphi Building at The University of Salford. There are plenty of nearby paid parking options nearby and the building is just a short walk from Salford Crescent Station and several major bus routes. The price includes a non-refundable £10 deposit.

Cancellation Policy:
If, after signing up, participants are unable to attend a course, you can request a refund minus the deposit amount that will be retained as a cancellation fee. Cancellations within 5 days of the workshop starting will not receive any refund, however we are more than happy to transfer you onto a later course. If the company has to cancel, you you will be refunded the full amount.
