Leicester Comedy Festival 2026!

October 30, 2025

We're thrilled to return to Leicester Comedy Festival, Europe's biggest comedy festival, next February, especially as our shows have picked up festival award nominations two years in a row! Advance tickets for friends of the festival are open now with tickets going on general sale starting Friday 31st October. Here are the shows we'll be bringing to the festival for 2026:

ComedySportz | 15th Feb 2026 | Soft Touch Arts | 2pm | £8

Two teams go for gold with gags and games inspired by your suggestions. Who wins? YOU decide! Award-winning family friendly fun. | "Very, Very, Very Funny." ★★★★★ Mix Up Theatre | "Brilliantly funny. Gags and games galore." ★★★★ The Derek Awards | "A feel-good show that celebrates the joy of improvisation." ★★★★ Theatre Weekly | TICKETS

The Totally Improvised Musical | 15th Feb 2026 | The Big Difference | 7pm | £10

Don't miss the opening - and closing - night of your very own musical! The story, songs, characters and "choreography" are all composed on the spot from your title suggestions. | "Hilarity, absurdity, fantastic vocals, and catchy songs." ★★★★½ Frankly My Dear UK | "Inventive and riotously funny." ★★★★ North West End | "Joy every night." ★★★★ Corr Blimey | TICKETS

Going Coastal with Donald McGinty | 19th Feb 2026 | The Globe | 6pm | £8

As well as our regular shows, we'll also be producing Sean's solo show. It's a light hearted, light entertainment show that's surprisingly dark for its time slot, with jokes about the seaside, seagulls and c-list celebrities. | "McGinty proves an affable captain of this enjoyable pleasure cruise." Chortle | TICKETS
