ComedySportz UK is the North West’s top improvised comedy troupe. A fast-paced improv comedy show where two teams battle it out for the biggest laughs. The players create quick witted sketches, scenes and songs from whatever suggestions are thrown at them by the audience to create a show that’s fast, feelgood and always unpredictably funny! There’s a referee on hand to steer the entertainment, call any fouls, and help the audience decide the winner. Great family fun and perfect for all ages (we suggest 7 +)!

Let’s See What Happens
We take one ‘monologist’ who tells true stories from their life based on YOUR suggestions. A team of improvisors then make up scenes and sketches inspired by their stories. Featuring players from the North West’s top comedy improv troupe- ComedySportz. Past monologists who have taken part: Arthur Bostrom, Steve Gribbin, Penella Mellor, Mike Milling, John Cooper, Bethany Black, Lee Fenwick (as Mick Sergeant), Mike Belgrave, Kate McCabe, Red Redmond, Jayne Edwards, Colin Manford, Mike Woodhead, Alex Cook, Tom Short.

A night of improvised drama and comedy as performers create whole narratives and characters from audience suggestions. Longform Fridays will surprise, challenge and entertain with an exciting mix of Improv styles. Only £3!

The team behind the hit competitive comedy show ComedySportz are bringing a brand new show to Waterside Arts Centre jam packed with silly games and songs for even younger audiences. Highly interactive, this friendly, non-competitive version of the show will delight and entertain with madcap, improvised games with plenty of physicality, stories, songs, silly noises and big laughs. Perfect for toddlers and pre-schoolers! Everyone is encouraged to join in as much as they want. Suggested Ages 6 and under.
