We have made the decision to postpone all workshops until April 18th 2020, at which point we will reassess the situation in line with current guidelines. This means the upcoming Stand-Up and Sketch Writing intensives have been postponed as well as our next few drop-in classes.
We're deeply disappointed that we are unable to continue to provide classes during this time but safety of workshop attendees and our players must come first.
If you are interested in taking either the Stand Up or Sketch Writing workshops please drop us an email and we'll be in touch as soon as new dates are confirmed. In the mean time please continue to book a space for our Foundation intensiveat the end of April. Rest assured if we have to make the decision to cancel or postpone the workshop we will issue a full refund.
Due to a fluke of scheduling we have very few shows scheduled between now and the 18th April. However we are not outright cancelling shows as we are looking at ways of making them accessible perhaps through live streaming. We will be issuing an update later on this week.
Quick-witted Improv troupe seeks audience with GSOH for laughter and fun... There will be plenty of love and laughter in the air with our Valentine's special at Waterside Arts on the 15th February. This year team captains (and real-life couple) Bron and Sean will be going head to head to see who has to pay for their Valentine's meal this year...
The last time the two went head-to-head like this Bron's team won ...which meant Sean treated her to some (very romantic) chips on the way home. Which team will win this year? You decide!

Join us as we go from suggestion to sensation with our Totally Improvised Musical show coming to Manchester this Spring! If you like musicals, this is the show for you. If you like comedy, this is also the show for you!
Every show is opening night as our team of top improvisers compose a brand new musical from your suggestions - hitting all the right notes in any order they like!
Shows will be performed at The Peer Hat (14-16 Faraday Street, M1 1BE Manchester) on 24th March, 28th April and 19th May 2020. Shows start at 7.30pm and will run for 1h15m (approx). Tickets cost just £5 and will be available on the door.
Improvised Musical Workshop in Lancaster
We're also running a one day Musical Improv workshop in Lancaster on Saturday 29th February! This session will look at techniques for improvising showstopping tunes driven by characters, whilst juggling rhyme, melody and narrative. The workshop is open to all skill levels and singing talents - however some general experience of improv skills is suggested for those taking part. We're back at Waterside Arts in Sale on Saturday 18th January with two great shows. There will be plenty of laughter for all ages. ComedySportz 4 Tots (3pm, £5/£3) is our show for kids aged 6 and under. There will be plenty of games, gigles, silly songs and stories, with plenty of opportunities for kids to get involved in this highly interactive show. Then we have our New Year, New Games ComedySportz Special (6.30pm, £8/£6) with plenty of never before seen games - who knows, we might even make something up on the night... For 2020 we've taken the decision to rest Improv Mullet at The Kings Arms. We're hoping to tour ComedySportz and gig more outside of Manchester as the year goes on.
