15 Years At Waterside Arts!

This weekend we're celebrating 15 years of fun and laughter at Waterside Arts! Join us on Saturday 22nd April for an evening of all action, all improvised fun for all ages. Tickets can be booked here or via venue box office.

Never seen a ComedySportz match before? Two teams will be going for gold with quick-witted gags and games inspired by your suggestions. Who wins? YOU decide! Don't miss the weekend's funniest fixture - the fun kicks off at 6.30pm.

If you've got children aged 6 and under, check out ComedySportz 4 Tots at 3pm. It's a show with plenty of big laughs for little kids as our players entertain with silly songs and sketches. Book tickets here.

And before all of that, Sean and Bron will also be appearing on BBC Radio Manchester Saturday morning at 10.40 am to talk all things ComedySportz.

We're so excited to be celebrating 15 years at Waterside Arts and want to say a big thank you to the venue staff and audiences that have made the shows so much fun! Whether it's a regular show, a Halloween Spooktacular or March Mayhem Match, we've loved entertaining audiences at Waterside Arts and watching our audiences grow... literally!

ComedySportz will be performing at the inaugural Liverpool Improvisation Festival in April. Over two days, The Unity Theatre will be home to twelve different shows plus workshops from improv groups across the North West of England. ComedySportz will be performing at 7.30pm on Friday 21st April.

The organisers have put together a fantastic line-up of shows and workshops with a real variety of styles. We hope you'll join us in supporting this brand new festival! The Halloween Spooktacular Returns!

Okay, we know it's a little early, but if Christmas starts earlier and earlier every year, why not Halloween? We're back at Waterside Arts on Saturday 22nd October 2022 for some frightfully funny family friendly comedy shenanigans as the Boo Team take on the Dead Team with ghoulish gags and games galore!

PLUS any one who turns up in fancy dress will also get a free treat - and that's no trick! Tickets are available now from Waterside Arts (Book Online or via Box Office) with the fun kicking off at 6.30pm. Join us for some spooky improvised competitive comedy in this special themed match.

Got kids aged 6 and under? Check out ComedySportz 4 Tots at 3pm on the same day (Book Online or via Box Office). ComedySportz 4 Tots is a non-competitive version of our main show with plenty of silly songs and games guaranteed to get you giggling!

Edinburgh Fringe Fun with ComedySportz!

We'll also be making guest appearances at other shows across the festival - details to be announced soon.

Tickets Available Now!

As always, we're back with the Free Festival because we believe in making theWe Fringe affordable for audiences. New for 2022, we also have any extra Pay What You Can option to help audiences secure seats in advance. After all, there's nothing worse than running from New Town to Old Town to catch a show only to find out it's full! Tickets start at £5.

However, you'll still be able to turn up to venues on the day if you'd prefer to make a bucket donation on the way out. And if you can't spare a few quid - it is the free festival after all - then instead you could say something nice about the show on social media, leave a review on the Fringe website or help spread word of mouth.

You can book tickets direct from the Edinburgh Fringe website. There is no official Fringe app this year but The Free Festival has their own app allowing you to plan your visit, find shows and book tickets (only available on the Apple Store). You can also check out Plan My Fringe to make the most of your time at the festival.
