ComedySportz at Waterside Arts

It's the last of our regular ComedySportz matches at Waterside Arts in Sale this month before we take a summer break (not really a summer break as we'll be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe!). Think of this month's show like the FA Cup Final of ComedySportz before our next season kicks off in September. Who wins? YOU decide!

Brighton Fringe 2023

OH WE DO LOVE TO BE BESIDE THE SEASIDE… We are delighted to be returning to Brighton Fringe Festival this month! Join us for a bank holiday weekend jam-packed with gags and games for all ages! Our players have ironed their kits and sharpened their wits. Join them for a weekend of award-winning competitive comedy action for all ages. Who wins? YOU decide!

Don't miss the festival's funniest fixture and book your tickets today! We want to make sure that big festival's like the Brighton Fringe are financially accessible to audience - whilst being financially viable for artists - so we have a few ticketing options for 2023. You can book an advance ticket or take a chance and turn up on the day - donations welcome. Advance tickets are on a Pay What You Want basis starting from £5.

New TwoProv Date!

Is there such a thing as TWO much improv? Find out as we showcase some of the best two-person improv teams around! Pairs of improvisers will create unique comedy sets from their suggestions. This is the second of what we hope to make a semi-regular night featuring talented teams from the North West and beyond.

15 Years At Waterside Arts!

This weekend we're celebrating 15 years of fun and laughter at Waterside Arts! Join us on Saturday 22nd April for an evening of all action, all improvised fun for all ages. Tickets can be booked here or via venue box office.

Never seen a ComedySportz match before? Two teams will be going for gold with quick-witted gags and games inspired by your suggestions. Who wins? YOU decide! Don't miss the weekend's funniest fixture - the fun kicks off at 6.30pm.

If you've got children aged 6 and under, check out ComedySportz 4 Tots at 3pm. It's a show with plenty of big laughs for little kids as our players entertain with silly songs and sketches. Book tickets here.

We're so excited to be celebrating 15 years at Waterside Arts and want to say a big thank you to the venue staff and audiences that have made the shows so much fun! Liverpool Improvisation Festival!

ComedySportz will be performing at the inaugural Liverpool Improvisation Festival in April. Over two days, The Unity Theatre will be home to twelve different shows plus workshops from improv groups across the North West of England. ComedySportz will be performing at 7.30pm on Friday 21st April.

The organisers have put together a fantastic line-up of shows and workshops with a real variety of styles. We hope you'll join us in supporting this brand new festival!
