Our courses are moving to The New Adelphi at University of Salford and will run on Saturdays starting 24th September 2022. We have workshops for all ability levels and all of our workshop spaces are fully accessible. Whether you're looking to be the next big thing in comedy, build confidence and communication skills, develop soft skills for business, add to your actor's résumé or just want to try something new and fun - you'll love taking a comedy course with ComedySportz. Happy New Year from all at ComedySportz! Kickstart your 2022 with some fun and laughter at our live and livestream shows this January. We also have our upcoming 8 week courses in improv and stand-up comedy - more details below!
We're starting things off with the return of our monthly online ComedySportz matches. These shows are free to watch - though donations are gratefully received. You can catch the next match on Saturday 8th January (shows will return to the first Saturday of every month from February). The stream goes live at 6.45pm GMT with the fun kicking off at 7pm.
If you're looking for live laughs you can catch ComedySportz and ComedySportz 4 Tots at Waterside Arts on Saturday 29th January. Join us for another New Year, New Games show as our teams go for comedy gold with a mix of games new and old (ooh that rhymes). It may be a new year but ComedySportz is still the number one show for all action, all improvised fun and laughter! Meanwhile, our Tots show will be jam packed with more silly songs, stories and mayhem for kids aged 6 and under.
Looking for our Adults Only shows? Unfortunately we've had to cancel our Totally Improvised Musical for January but we'll be back on Tuesday 15thFebruary - whether you're on a date or looking for laughs in all the wrong places you won't want to miss this show when it returns next month!

Beginning Stand-Up Comedy (4 Week Course)
First up is our next Beginning Stand-Up course. Develop your first comedy routine and hone your comedic voice in this safe and supportive workshop environment. You'll receive feedback and guidance to help you shape your material and delivery. Great fun, whether you're looking to break into Stand-Up comedy, sharpen your writing, or build confidence in public speaking.

Foundation Improv (6 Week Course)
Our next Foundation Improv course starts in April. Learn the core skills and principles that underpin improvised performance in this fun and friendly course. Covering fundamental areas including: "Yes, And", Listening, Character, Storytelling and more! If you're looking to build confidence in collaboration, communication and creativity then this is the course for you!
