It's the return of our March Mayhem Match at Waterside Arts this Saturday, 26th March! This weekend we're giving YOU control over the whole show - you'll pick the teams and the games they play. That's right, you're in charge for a night of unscripted, unpredictable and unmissable comedy action!
We'll also be picking two audience members to act as team managers giving words of encouragement to players... or offering scathing critique like the kid that told one team "that was very funny, but your acting could be better." So if you have a fan favourite game and want to put our teams of top improvisers to the test, you'll want to be at this weekend's funniest fixture. Book tickets here.
Got kids aged 6 and under? Check out ComedySportz 4 Tots, a show that's jam-packed with silly songs and gags to get your little ones giggling! Book tickets here.

The Totally Improvised Musical returns next week for more songs and laughter. And if you're feeling inspired, we're running a one day Musical Improv workshop in April 2022!
It might be a day late but let our cast be your funny valentines on Tuesday 15th February with the opening (and closing night) of two completely unscripted musicals. Whether you're on a date or looking for laughs in all the wrong places you won't want to miss this show at The Peer Hat, Manchester. We have dates for the Totally Improvised Musical booked in until the summer with more shows going on sale soon!
And if that's hitting all the right notes for you, we're also running a one-day Musical Improv Workshop on the 3rd April at Gorse Hill Studios. Designed for performers with experience in improv who are looking to explore their musical side., this session will also cater to experienced musical improvisers looking to expand their skills. The workshop will focus on the creation of small group and solo songs, looking at the structure of a song and methods for creating continuity and meaning within. Join our musical director Felix Janeway and Rachel Wareing for a day of character driven songs and challenges, if a fun and supportive environment.
We are delighted to announce we won "Best Alternative Act" at the 2022 North West Comedy Awards last night. Thank you also to everyone who made it down to a ComedySportz match live or online - without your suggestions and laughter we don't have a show!
We hope you'll join us for more fun and laughter with our first live show of the year at Waterside Arts on January 29th - you can book tickets here. We also have a few spaces left on our next Foundation Improv course - book a space here. You can find a full list of the North West Comedy Awards 2022 winners here.
