Improvised Radio Play for RNIB

Join us on Friday 10th November at the Kings Arms for an improvised radio play to raise money for the Royal National Institute for the Blind.

The format, called a BAT, is performed in complete darkness and audience members are also encouraged to close their eyes to get the full experience. Performers will create character and sound effects using only their voices as they improvise a radio play inspired by an audience suggestion. Straddling comedy and drama, the show promises to be like nothing you've experienced before where anything could happen.

There will also be cakes available for all and proceeds will go to the Royal National Institute for the Blind which has been providing practical and emotional support for those with sighting loss since 1868.

Entry costs only £3 and donations will also be gratefully accepted.

Comedy, charity and cake. What's not to love?

Workshops - Last Chance for 2017!

Workshops start up again on October 21st. Whether you're looking to expand performance skills (that have plenty of real life applications), build confidence, make new friends or just do something a bit different for a couple of hours every Saturday then sign up today!

We still have a couple of spaces on all of our courses (Foundation in Improv, Intermediate Improv, Beginning Stand Up Comedy and a new weekday course in Sketch Writing) and there are always a few last minute places that open up so don't put off any longer otherwise you'll have to wait until January to have fun. And who wants to do that?

Visit our workshops page for more info!

IMPROV MULLET

New show coming in September. Shortform in the front, Longform in the back!

By Royal Appointment!

We're back from an amazing Edinburgh Festival Fringe! We had full rooms, fantastic suggestions and fabulous audiences. Thanks to everyone that made it such a great time, our players, our crowds and all the staff at The Three Sisters and Laughing Horse Free Festival.

Best of all we had a very special guest one day when Prince Edward and his family (plus fifteen bodyguards and a priest) came to watch the show. Here's a clip from that match as the Blue Team take on Finishing School.

You can find more video clips from our time in Edinburgh on our facebook page.

Don't worry if you couldn't make it to Edinburgh however, we're back at the Waterside Arts Centre this weekend with ComedySportz and our brand new show ComedySportz 4 Tots!
