The ComedySportz World Championship
CSzUK has been represented at this event every year since 2003.
2009 A staggering 10 of us went to tournament this year! Brainne Edge, John Cooper, Chris Brooker, Sally Hodgkiss, Rachel Wareing, Stephanie Threlfall, Chris Tavner, Darryl Fishwick, Ross Wagman and Sean Mason.
Then once we were at the World Championship we strutted our stuff, losing the first game, but winning the second. Good fun!
2008 Before the Championship even began, Brainne, Ross and Tom played a couple of shows...
Again, 8 players made it all the way across the pond for the championship (Brainne Edge, Chris Brooker, Daisy Connolly, Tom Roche, Derek O'Brien, Brendan Goss, Ross Wagman and Chris Tavner), this was our first year not winning our match (this year against the host team), our novelty must have finally worn off. But like the Murphy's.. you know the rest. A huge honour was bestowed this year on Chris Brooker, who was picked, out of 150 improvisors to play in the ComedySportz All Star Match at the end of the week!
2007 A staggering 8 players went to the Championship this year (Brainne Edge, Chris Brooker, Rachel Wareing, Ross Wagman, Daisy Connolly, Derek O'Brien and Leigh Jones). Before tournament we played some other matches:

2006 Chris Brooker, Brainne Edge and Rachel Wareing went on tour this summer:
Before finally arriving at the Championship and winning their match agains the home team at the Championship.
2005 On the same stage that was used in the film Spiderman 2 and that was once performed on by Elvis, Brainne Edge, Steven Catterall, Ste Martin and Rachel Wareing burst forth. Playing and winning once again.
2004 Brainne, Steven Catterall and Ed 'Pij' Tootell headed over to represent at the 2004 Championships. They played and won.
2003 Brainne Edge on her lonesome is DJ in the All Star match on the final day. Playing with many excellant players from all over, including Chris Tallman (yes, he's a bit famous, he was in House don't ya know...)
