About Derek O'Brien: Derek, or Deggsy, joined Comedysportz in 2006. Initially present only as a spectator, he soon picked up the improv bug, and quickly signed up, never looking back. An expatriate American living in Manchester since 2001, his Yankee enthusiasm has at times reached Dick Van Dyke levels, though the same cannot be said for his dancing ability. He constantly strives to improve his other skills and remain a valued member of the Comedysportz team.
