Homage to Players Past
Ste Martin: 6 - 2001-2006
Ste Martin was one of our founder players, he was in our first
match back in 2001 - and he played almost every match up until his
departure in 2006. Ste was certainly a crowd favourite and is now
persuing his degree in Musical Theatre.

Paul Thompson: 8 - 2001-2004
Paul was another of our founder players. Always the tallest of
the group, he stood out with his fantastic physical humour.

Emily Cookson: 3 - 2001-2006
Emily Cookson was the youngest ComedySportz Player in the world
at age 12 when she began playing with us. She was still the youngest
in the troupe when she left us in 2006 to go to Drama School. Emily
was one of our most energetic players, and even had a game named
after her in the troupe "Ask Emily" where Emily would
talk for a minute about anything the audience wanted her to.

Russell Ditchfield: 69 - 2002-2004
Russell Ditchfield joined us mid 2002 after being a fan of the
show. A player to challenge Paul's 'tall' status, Russell was an
all round performer. He left the troupe to go to University, and
is now in the group Louie.

Rachael Hilton: 12 - 2001-2004
Rachael was a firey haired joy in the troupe, but in 2004 Drama
school beckoned, you can now see her on various TV programmes, most
recently 'Doctors' and 'Grown Ups'.

Sean Hargreaves: 9 - 2003-2006
Sean Hargreaves joined us just before we got our swanky shiney
shirts back in 2003. He provided the sparkles that we needed, and
we continually miss his sparkle.

Some other players who were with us for a short time were:
Ed Tootell
Nick Broadbent
Vicki Forrester
Phil Melling
Tom Kirk
Lou Conran
Sean Moran
